Re: G&P M4 spring downgrade help
Depends on a few variations like the airseal and barrel bore.
But generally speaking a M100 spring will give you around the figure you looking for. That being said, always worth checking. Put a Guarder M100 in my G36c, which pushed it to 353fps. Guarder springs tend to come a little hot, and I have a freakishly good airseal on my G36c (more by chance than skill!)
Anyway, I've put a SP85 in there now. Cronoing tomorrow, but I'm expecting around 320 with some luck

You got a back up weapon or your own crono?
Otherwise you might have issues there if your site don't let you use it!

Re: G&P M4 spring downgrade help
I think you'd need to go to the site knowing you may need to either:
- Hire a weapon
- Borrow a mates
- Go home
What you could try is tapping the trigger quickly/lightly and catch the weapon mid cycle (So you hear the wirrr, but not the bang!). It might take a good few attempts.
But once you catch it there, the spring is compressed. Leave it the couple days until your skirmish, and that might have done enough to lose some power from that spring.

Re: G&P M4 spring downgrade help
Failing that. You could always ask the shop to either down grade the spring for you or to clip the one thats in it. Either way they would have to open the gear box.
I usually find that M105 springs give arround 345 fps.

A M105?!
Good chance that will be over 350 slightly depending on air seal.
Best hope they not too strict!

Re: G&P M4 spring downgrade help
a new G&P will be hot to start off with but be warned even some makes of m100 will still be to hot ,
ca m15 with good airseal and hurricane m100 = 380fps
systema 1j in the same gun = 330 fps , g&p's have a super airseal so if you want to be safe use a 1j spring
