Re: Gears question
I must ask why you are so intent on Systema products?
As an after thought I created those traffic jams on the A47 when we resurfaced it ...lol...small world.

Im not they were the only ones that did a high speed set.
but after advise not to go high speed for sopmod
1. KANZEN Ceramic 8mm bearings
2. KANZEN Motor
3. Promo Torque Gears
But some systema parts do have good reviews

Re: Gears question
systemas been about the longest and is able to be brought as some good trade prices by places like zero one so they tend to push the product quite strongly, but there products are out dated and there plastic products notoriously fail. As does there gearbox casing. If they where better priced more towards the lower end, it might be more acceptable.
You should double check the hole diameter, i would hate for you to order 30 quids for of bearings to have them not fit.
what do you think mark from the picture big enough for 8mm ?
wisbeach eh.. not something id mention in public :P :P
Im from near downham market my self in norfolk

Re: Gears question
They also have a very clever marketing depatment...
Do Kanzen make motors?
Kanzen synergie are reputably the best you can get, not really sure you need them but deffo the best.
Prommy are excellent, Richard will guide you...they are his babies...

Re: Gears question
yeah they make motors, ive got load of umm. The strong long versions.
According to kanzen they are 20% stronger than any other on the market, certinaly nice presentation in the box they come in and i like the size of the pinion closer to Tm's.
im sure there claims over rated they always are but if its as fast as others with a better compatability and reliability ill be happy.

Re: Gears question
Just double checked and they are 8mm
And also what do you guys think of ceramic bearings . they get good reviews but some say they crack . ive used them on other things but never on a gun , but i guess that unless alot of pressure is put on them they are good for a long time.
Whats your thoughts
