Hi guys. Let's see how this goes. Forgive my speechless video, not the most confident of people. I have made 2 short videos, one of me dry firing (I know I shouldn't but indoors I won't be firing BBs about) with an old recoil spring and then the other has a newer recoil spring in. I will also attach some images to show the internals.

            Re: KWA/KSC Glock 17 - Cycling Issue

Ok, I have managed to get the slide to fully rack when the trigger has pulled now. The hammer spring was a tad out of place and needed pulling back for some extra oomf! Also I got my mag warmish before test firing as it's pretty cold in here and i'm using Zero One Pro Gas. The slide now fully racks but on return, the trigger does not do anything.

To see where the issue was, I took off the back piece of plastic in the slide that slots into the BBU and reassembled the slide. The piece of plastic prevents you removing the slide if the hammer is cocked which after pulling the trigger it only half cocks. If I do this manually, it will fully cock, but not with a trigger pull with a mag in. I have taken a photo to demonstrate.

Is that the hammer half cocked? What's stopping it from going all the way forward?

You should be able to remove the slide with the hammer fully cocked.

You need to start looking at how the parts interact and find the cause of the problems you have. Start with looking at how the hammer is moved when you cock it yourself and when you cock it by cycling the slide. Look at how it interacts with the sear (the thing that holds it cocked), the little flappy metal bit on the back inside the BBU, how it interacts with the trigger connector bar. Then do it all again but with the trigger pulled.

Also start thinking about the roles various parts play in the cycle of shooting, you may come to some odd conclusions that are worth checking out.
Sorry if I'm asking a lot but it is literally THE ONLY way to to fix a problem with any machine that is broken.
