Its basically what im proposing to build. Way to destroy my dream fella. Saves me a lot of time though and probably cheaper.

                  Re: Viable Project?

The actual peq box looks cheap and its only for front wired. I suppose if I can live without the mosfet I can possibly power it elsewhere?

                    Re: Viable Project?

yeah it has its drawbacks but once its in your hands you can probably mod it to suit whatever plans you have its says peq is self powered to be fair so I assume the battery indicator is wireless too so it can work as easily from rear mounted as front mounted battery positions don't take my word for it tho ill try post something when I finally get it

You could use a tracer silencer for 1, everytime the beam breaks, you can increase count. Would also work as a genuine tracer unit

                        Re: Viable Project?

Im afraid leeroy has pissed on all my chips and made me spend $130 will still have a piss about with some illumination I think. Using the arduino you would have a display saying whatever is being monitored. Mag low, mag empty, battery low, engage flashlight, any message. I might have a play with that instead.

another good source of bits and bob's is technobots shop , it's a source for robot war's parts (not in competition with an airsoft shop)
http://www.technobotsonline.com/ fun shop to lose you'r self for a while.
