Re: vsr sudden no hop
Have you had the cylinder apart yet?
have you installed any new/upgrade parts?
You should defently feel air coming out the cylinder head, even with a large leak from the cylinder head. if your not then theres an issue with the piston. most likely to do with the o ring

Re: vsr sudden no hop
Take your cylinder apart,
Check the O-Ring is seated properly, Slightly greased with silicone grease or oil (I mean only a small amount to help with sealing to cylinder)
Check the spring and spring guide is all seated nicely, Reassemble with a bit of PTFE tape on the thread (Always remember to wind the tape around the opposite way to it screwing in).
Install into rifle with out outer barrel in and do the compression test, cock, push bolt forward, put finger over the end and see if the piston moves or not. If it moves still then the piston/O-Ring is at fault. If it stays in position then you have now a good air seal.

Re: vsr sudden no hop
Are you using the stock piston still ?
if not and using a laylax swap the o ring from the stock piston to the laylax. other brands like aspuk im not sure how good there seal is.
as above slightly grease the o rings and check tightness of parts.

Re: vsr sudden no hop
Sometimes yes, can be consistency of the BB or if there is a silencer its catching etc.
Make sure if its a G-spec that the silencer isn't being hit by the BB's when travelling through.
Could just be one of those things that happen, also depends out of how many shots we are talking.
