barrel advise l96

My l96 has a brass barrel set up, just bought a stainless barrel as part of some upgrades, I bought off here.
would the barrel be a tight bore, or is the tight bore a brass one ??
how do you release the barrel and hop unit?
put in a better cylinder a alloy one, but cant get the upgraded spring to fit the alloy guide too small diameter . Got it running at a consistant 470 ish fps , is that enough, dont want to go too high and risk running over fps limits.
I like the style of the L96, and want to keep it going, I know theres much better guns around.

Re: barrel advise l96
wel first off mate , the Tb barrel series doesn't fit straight into the standard hop unit , unless you have a 5-7mm spacer to put in infront of the barrel ,
the stainless will be a tb barrel , but the standard brass , are 6.04 standard
and there is a few guides on youtube for the dissasembly steps , but if unsure mate , give me 20 mins and will write one up for you .
