TM VSR cocking problems. <broken gun>
6 May, 2013, 20:30
I just purchased a 2nd hand TM VSR, sold as very upgraded. I test fired it at the sellers, maybe 20-30 rounds. Impressive shot, very accurate very long range so I took it, got it home, test fired and in my 2nd magazine it stops working.
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated? I suspect it's trigger related. Here's a video of the problem:

Spring guide related, perhaps? Just guessing looking on google? It feels like the cocking handle is not pulling back the spring.

Haha good luck.
Its nice and easy to be honest.
Just remember when fitting a new one if it is off that I'm pretty sure it is that you get the cylinder slot lined up properly so the new stopper slides in nicely without any force last thing you want is a dented cylinder from forcing it on the edge of it :-).

Second video is your cylinder head. The first one is the stopper.
Had it come loose out of place and not pushed in far enough?

I'm going to try to reassemble, maybe the stopper had come loose... Wish me luck!

Re: TM VSR cocking problems. <broken gun>
That was the problem. When I took to stopper out it slipped out, so had obviously come loose. I gave it a good click back in.
Working again, all ok. Parts look in fab condition and they all appear to be the parts it was sold with.
Thanks for all the help gents! A headache turned into a fun task!
