Upgrading a Snow Wolf Barrett M99
2 April, 2010, 16:35
Hi guys. I need to replace the hop up unit and rubber in my M99 to a TM one. Anyone got any advice please? What do I need exactly, as it's Maruzen L96 internals I believe.

I bought Kodiaks M99 so am very interested in how your mods have gone, i am getting only 406 fpr out of it , have totaly stripped and re built it carefully, may heve to order a higher rated spring ,so the cylinder mod would be good to try too

Re: Upgrading a Snow Wolf Barrett M99
i had 502fps out of mine, Alloy piston, spring guide, teflon cylinder and a trimmed 150sp spring.
The zero trigger was a mare to mod to fit but worked.
Ive now stripped the goodies out of it and put then#m in a different gun

Hi, what teflon cylinder did you use? How did you mod a zero trigger (some pictures would great if you have them)? Do you have any parts (m99) up for grabs?

Re: Upgrading a Snow Wolf Barrett M99
The zero trigger needed a small slot cut out of the body of the gun so the trigger could poke down through, i then made a linkage out of a bicycle spoke to push the trigger.
Not ideal, but couldnt source a replacement trigger and had the zero 1 lying around.
The teflon cylinder i have is from an L96 i think
