Re: VSR G-Spec Advise on FPS with current spec
to be honest mate, its not the thickness it is how it is coiled,
but thats a different situation,
before messing around with yours any more,
check all the parts are lined up, cleaned, lubed with correct lube ie silicone oil/grease on the orings and air seal parts and the OUTSIDE of the hop rubber only.
white lithium grease/ spray on the spring, spring guide, and inside of the piston, out side coat of the bolt or teflon grease.
barrel spacers, ptfe mods on the hop rubber and cylinder head,

where you chrono'in with hop fully off, or part on.
also you may want to try a pdi barrel, .03 or .05

Re: VSR G-Spec Advise on FPS with current spec
We chronoed it last night with the old spring, with no hop it was 130mps, with hop on it was 135mps with 0.20g bb's.
Also looking at a 430mm PDI Raven 6.01mm barrel to make it a little more consistant, current I can consistantly hit a 2" square target @ 40meters, as before test last night before the new spring was installed.

don't go 6.01 your range and accuracy will not be as good as if it was to have a .03 in
