it will be jsut the piston, i use laylax spring and guide with pdi sears, best thing to do would be to order from hobby sites in asia, they do lots of pdi parts

Do you use a PDI piston?
Not sure if I want to fork out 30 dollars for postage for just one item.. Anyone making an order anytime soon that I can piggy back?
edit. Also out of stock
Will a PDI Ezy Hard Piston for Marui VSR-10 work with a Laylax 150 spring?

Re: VSR Sears not engaging? (Picture heavy)
you got the hint then haha
i use a standard tm piston, seems to limit my fps to around 440 ish
try other places, i know one place that does a 500mm gspec barrel as well, you could order a group of bits
(i will possibly be doing an order soon from a difff website, pm for details)

Really? I'm suprised the stock plastic piston can take the strain. What spring are you running and how long has it lasted?
I will have to take you up on that offer.

Right, next thing to try!
Also just found that the rear screw that holds the metal block over the hop unit in place is now jammed. It's just one fucking thing after another!

I think I over tightened. It comes out maybe a quater of the way then just gets jammed.

Re: VSR Sears not engaging? (Picture heavy)
possibly going to have to pull it out, and replace the whole block or re-tap if you have the facilities
if its not needed now though i wouldnt worry about it, focus on getting it firing first

You sir are a genius! Thank you so much.
Got the bugger working now. Hopefully the stock piston will hold for now.
Now I just need to get the hop open to get the firefly rubber in there!

Re: VSR Sears not engaging? (Picture heavy)
the stock piston should be fine, mine is, if it brakes in the near future ill warn you (i use my sniper a lot)
and i can only praise firefly hard rubbers, no good though with less than .28 (dunno what your setup is)

I'm planning to run .28's or .3's.
Set up is:
- Laylax 150 spring
- Laylax spring guide
- Laylax cylinder head
- Now TM piston
- PDI first and second sears
- PDI barrel spacers
- Laylax 6.03 TB barrel
- If I can get it in there, Firefly hop rubber
I think that's everything

Re: VSR Sears not engaging? (Picture heavy)
all ive done is;
laylax sp150
laylax spring guide
pdi 1st and 2nd sear (not changed the spring guide stopper like everyone says you should)
firefly hard hop rubber
runs on .28s nicely and is accurate to around 60m, could probably get more but thats the furthest target (a mess tin) on the range where i shoot
edit: i forgot the wooden stock

Sounds pretty nice!
I'm hoping she'll be a bit of a 'crouching tiger hidden dragon' when it's finished...
It better be after all the time and quite honestly rediculous amount of money I've invested into it!
I'll give this new configuration a test in the morrow, fingers crossed!
