Ares L85a2 AFV or Ares Tar 21. which one and why?

I want to buy one of the above. but cannot decide which.

I want the best range and accuracy possible. I will change rubber and add a tb to either so they are similar. Please forget about price though.

so which one would you go for and why?

At the end of the day, all you're really going to get are peoples' personal preference and what other people prefer is the wrong reason to buy one, it has to be what YOU prefer.

Im hoping to get some technical reason behind the whys rather than x looks better than y.

I bought a tar 21 a lil why ago 2nd hand from the forum but it was completely broken. So was it a one off? Have others had probelms with either etc.
I know the L85 is rated one of the toughest guns going

Well, im no expert. But wont they be firing roughly the same?
So if they were then it would just be a choice of looks.
I dont really like the look of british weapon(gets ready to be stoned to death)

I've played with the TAR and it's easier to handle than the SA80 cuz of the ease of acces to the fire selector

Id go for the SA80 myself, may be ugly....sorry fugly, but Ive heard bad things about the TAR21 being a rather temperamental beast, also the built in red dot sucks hairy ones, cant really go wrong with an SA80 and SUSAT, the carbine version I think also looks quite nifty and you could do some nifty loadouts with it, like RM boarding and anti piracy ops for an example. But again it is YOUR personnal preferance, like everything else if you practice it all becomes second nature, so dont be fooled into the ergonomics argument, just look what happened when FN Herstal released the P90, they made the fugliest weapon ever for ergonomic sake that gets more heavily used on the set of stargate than any where else in the real world.
