Re: G&P Sentry or a TM SOPMOD
Well folks, I got my hands on a SOPMOD... I guess it was inevitable..
Thanks to one my fellow airsofters on here for the deal .... you rock dude!
Isn't she a beauty...
:D
All stock at the moment but i'm sure over the next few months I'll start upgrading her......
Just need advice from you SOPMOD owners on which upgrades I should go for... Need her to be firing 350fps....
Thanks

Re: G&P Sentry or a TM SOPMOD
batteries are your first place to start with the sopmod. Either get the cells replaced or get one of the custom lipos if you have the monies. that will have it running reliably

Re: G&P Sentry or a TM SOPMOD
On my list so far is the following:
Stage 1:
1. New battery(s)
2. eagle6 recoil spring
3. Prommy TB (which one do I need)
4. Laylax locking nut (where, where do I get one of these?)
Stage 2: (Involves opening up the gearbox.. so not on my list yet need to look at more takedown videos)
5. eagle6 m100
6. New piston?
7. New piston head?
What else?
Thx

Re: G&P Sentry or a TM SOPMOD
m100 and metal bushings/bearings would be all you need to start to get to 340ish. you might want to get an m90 as well, as my prommy cqb barrel pushed my socom just over my 350 limit
I would sort battery, upgrade spring, bearings. Then see what the performance is like from there. They don't need loads done to them
although I can't talk as I spent stupid amounts on mine (a lot of it external mind)

Re: G&P Sentry or a TM SOPMOD
Kanzen High torque motor, these things rock.
I put them in all the sopmods i work on.
Piston and piston head are not bad being TM, so i would get new gears, cylinder head and bearings first.
