About this time last year we where driving to a game site and the 5-0 pulled us over, the thoughts of "Ohh... f..." rushing through peoples minds.

Said officer wanted to speak to the driver quickly because they where doing spot checks in that local area, asked him if he knew how fast he was driving or if he knew where he was actually going to which he replied "Yes I am being instructed as to where to go as we drive", the officer slowly slid down his mirrored shades to look at him, say "Ok" then walked off.

See now, that was "Normal" but I like how he didnt ask us where we were going or for that matter, why we had 3 people in a car already wearing battle gear with a crap load of army ammo tins, rifle cases and gas canisters piled in the back?

I would have thought this to be the "FIRST" thing to ask lol

At a skirmish a couple of weeks ago we had a VIP escort game in which we had to delay the enemy's VIP for as long as possible as they travelled down a set path. Perfect Claymore territory, I thought, and spent about 5 minutes setting it up and camouflaging it at a natural chokepoint so it would fire from behind the advancing enemy where I was certain it would schwack most of their team and hold up their advance. Chuffed with my handiwork, I fell back a few meters and told the nearest friendlies about the mine and to avoid standing infront of it etc.

The marshall called game on and I found a good overlooking position, fished the detonator out of my gear and instantly realised I'd forgotten to take the safety pin out of the top of the Claymore, like a tw*t. Cue a desperate attempt to fight my way back to the mine to arm it and the dictionary definition of fail.

about a week ago i was at gz and me and 2 of my mates where in a bunker quite hidden well then we saw some of the enemy team my mate thought it would be a good idea to throw a flash bang but when he went to throw it got shot and dropped it in where we were and bllinded us all

Was hiding in a bush covering a small area that the opfor had to capture. I decided to throw a flashbang into the other side of the area, however when I threw it I forgot to take my gloves off and c*cked up the throw. The flashbang in question hit the tree in front of me and came straight back down in front of me and well the rest is obvious...

was in a skirmish and was scouting an area. saw a sniper in dpms shooting at my team. walked over for a stealth kill, fell over he jumped up aimed and fired.. he had run out of ammo cue him trying to reload. i had dived behind a tree i brought out my duel glocks.. and yes i had no ammo in each. cue both of us loading as fast as we could just im ready to fire another sniper walks up to him and pronounces him dead. with a knife kill!!

That isn't what I'd call embarrassing, more an 'opportunity to negotiate' as it were... (I'll resist the obvious 'bang kill' joke... )

Another one - Between training sessions my old team and I are stood around in a dirt road chatting, it's pitch black and we all have got used to the darkness ('night eyes' if that makes any sense...). Then out of no where soemthing drops to the floor, everyone looks down and a flashbang goes off within about 1' of everyone looking directly at it. Apparantly it had fallen off someone's belt, tho I'm not sure I believe that...

* The above occured after someone else almost burnt down the copse we were fighting in by throwing a pyro into dried grass...

was at a site somewhere,cant remember which one,was late as usual,geared up put on my helmet and full face, rushed out of the safe zone, BANG! smacked my head on the 5 foot door frame,which had a warning sign,but didnt see coz i was looking down,making sure i didnt trip up.....the blow knocked me onto my back...wasnt hurt coz of the helmet,but a little shocked at what happened

Not in game, but as the new marshal at my site i got tied to a tree and ketchup poured all over me :L

I was charging through grassland at Proteus camp a few years back and fell a over t over something. I just got back up and kept on charging at this building. I got shot and on my way back passed a guy in a ghillie suit from the other team going back to HIS respawn.

Turned out he'd gone to ground when our whole team had taken up position in his bush, Id tripped over the guy, and fallen flat on my face. He'd then leapt up thinking he'd done me an injury, I'd charged off regardless and he got lit up by my entire team...

Hit myself in the face with a GBB top slide as it recoiled, tagged revived a teammate with a usual open palm to the chest, only to remember it was mark's GF and I looked like I was having a grope, left my gun on safety numerous occassions, performed a textbook sweep and clear manouver with a team mate only to find out we'd just killed the rest of our team (turns out they weren't shouting the counter call very loudly), and parked our car in front of a trendy nightclub - 4 guys in matching combat equipment loading up large black rucksacks into a car while a very large ammount of trendies mill around at 11.30pm provokes some interesting looks

Most awkward hmmm...

Has to be this one game where yellow team had to capture these mines from these huts scattered around the woodland and take them back to the helicopter. That was there main objective. So halfway through the game I decided to go lone wolf and saboutage there line as no one was getting anywhere with the fighting at the huts. This was my first time there so I had no idea were I was going. I started sneaking around the outskirts of the woods and I spotted the helicopter. I ran in their finding 5 mines which they captured and they only needed 1 more to win. These were blooming heavy so I only took 3 of them ran of with them finding myself at a river. I just dumped them in there and legged it to get some more. This time, someone there team spotted me heading to the helicopter. He was in eye view and he just stared at me for about 20 secs then. I think he was confused on what team I was on and why I was alone all the way out there. Then we just opened fire and I killed him.

We won that game due to our team making a push at one of the huts and some guys from this clan regrouping with me to defend the helicopter from the getting any mines in there.

It was great!
