Re: tw@t's on the field ..
With my ridiculous loadout I had my fair share of hit-taking issues as I was starting out, not gonna lie. I've gotten loads better since then at feeling (or listening for) things ping off of me. This is what I do and what all heavy gear guys should do tbh...if someone pop a couple rounds off and I feel like he ought to have hit me, I stand straight up for a couple of seconds and present the biggest target possible. If I get lit up I figure I was likely hit previously anyway, and I walk off, no biggie. If shots still don't connect then I figure the guy's gun was out of range and I resume play.
This has worked pretty well so far, though I would be apprehensive to wear my full armor to a site for the first time. I have a light loadout as well for that.
More than anything else, airsoft needs people to not be dicks to each other. It really does not take much effort.

Re: tw@t's on the field ..
There was not an implication that only those with expensive guns behave like morons; however, judging by the amount of kit hanging off the guy, it is pretty easy to be certain that his gun is not going to be a Combat Machine.

unknown, apparently he was part of a well known welsh team, a few other people were having problems with them that day as well.

Please don't say that there's a welsh team out there like this?
I'm welsh and it would be a disgrace to hear that there are welsh people like this in airsoft, I only hope they will remove the welsh from their name or stop completely.
A disgrace to airsoft too.

It seems all bad things I here about airsoft in Wales come from either them or Team Legion. It could just be rumours though. As I said its only what I've heared.

They have airsoft in Wales now?
There's a scammer operating openly on this forum. Please be aware of who you're dealing with.

I bet you have a dog. One that I could shave like a sheep, and mistake it for some extra curricular activities

We've all seen the spec savers advert, so it's entirely possible XD

Re: tw@t's on the field ..
Whilst I take each game as serious as airsoft warrants, we are of course running round with toy guns shooting plastic bb's! I take a little bit of offense to out and out cheating. Having parted with my hard earned wages to play, I get a bit steamed when players keep cheating by not taking hits.
At one site in Aldershot, it was rife throughout the day, and I found harder to keep my thoughts to myself, after watching one guy flinch as I shot him, only for him to look round to see if anyone saw him, he found me waving from the other side of the parade ground, only then did he declare that he was hit.
As the day progressed it got worse after getting the drop on 6 players from a reasonable distance full auto'd the lot of them which 5 stuck their hands up and took it the guy in the middle dropped to his knee to return fire. It was only after a Marshall had a word with him did he relent and take his hit.
I did lose it though and was asked to return to the safe zone to cool off, when a player who was approx 2 meters in front of me who I shot from head to foot on full auto, again in front of a Marshall, decided to step back behind the door. What followed can only be described as a full on torretts rant using every one of my extensive naughty words directed at the player in question.
There were a few other examples that were witnessed by other players on my team but the site marshalls were on top of it and I believe that two players were asked to leave the site.

Thread cleaned!
I think people need to step away from the thread, take a few deep breaths and count to 10
If you're having difficulty doing that, it can be arranged for you!
