Yeah, Murtas right... .45s were issued in the eighties (read a memoir by a SAS gulf war vet who uses one in Northern Ireland). They're not issued anymore, 99% of softers SF impressions go off what you see in pictures and the remaining 1% is what you may have been told by your mates dad etc etc... not having a go by any means but 'accurate' SF loadouts are all relative as you say.

G's is a high capacity, modern funky .45 variant and out of place in the modern kit as they are issued Sig 226s (and have only ever been photo'd using said pistols or high powers in iraq or afghan AFAIK).

Still, the high capa is an excellent airsoft pistol and its fair enough if he wants to use it, I use a five seven personally in my UKSF rig as I just dont like the Sig!

Looks good so far.

I'd get a Union Jack patch for the front, or a 226 platform.

Maybe a butt pad for the rifle?

I'm putting together a similar loadout, minus the belt.

Mine does seem quite CoD 4-y now that I think about it, which is a good thing

Id go for an acog rather than eotech out of personal pref but otherwise looks a decent practical winter loadout- nice one!

Thanks guys. Yeah patch is on its way owain. and i was going to have the sig in a serpa on my belt or in a safariland drop leg. and the rifle its gonna have the stock switched and a butt pad added.
Spetz i have an agoc and dont like it. i find the eotechs looks slicker too. just dunno which to get hurricane or G&P

I have a G&P and it works great very bright and well made great battery life and the reticle is clear and crisp, plus it only ghosts when the setting is too high.
