USMC very rarely wear any sort of SSI (shoulder sleeve insignia), what normal human beings call badges.

I suggets if you are going to do an Impression of a Unit, do your research! Look for pictures of the unit you want to look like, read books on the unit in question (if there is any) & watch films/tv series (not usually 100% accurate but it is a start).

Do not just throw anything on and say it is such and such as your 9 times out of 10 going to be incorrect. If you would like a kit list of a certain unit loadout and are not sure what you think you might need, ASK. There are enough of us "weirdo geardo's" around to help.

AND FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THAT IS RIGHT AND HOLY, please do not qoute pictures that or on the same damn page.

Hey all I'm looking for an SAS style loadout I have a systema M4A1 which I am currently looking for attachments to stick on (ACOG, M203, Laser & Flashlight, Silencer). And I have a full set of 2000 DPM and 95 webbing (Brittish issue). I thought about wearing my sand coloured beret but it just looked stupid, I also have a ballaclava to cover my full face mask. Any pointers would be great

totally just chucked on kit i got bored and thought it was time i posted a pic on here. missing loads of stuff like boonie,bowman and the likes im ordering a warrior plb belt also and hatch knee pads. and a ubacs since the shirt is too big. any tips apreciated

he is going for a 2004 issue recon load out so pasgt is right, and other than the badge and pcu the rest of his gear is accurate

A 2004 first recon should still be OTV, desert marpat and pasgt shouldnt it?

Edit: literally just realised hes wearing an OTV with the groin protector removed, that admin panel covered the zip and made me think it was a CIRAS...

I think the shoulder plates are narrower than a CIRAS', and a Ciras generally looks a bit chunkier... if it is a ciras its wrong but willing to give him the benefit of the doubt :p
