The pictures really don't do it justice. That bus is one of the funniest things I have yet seen on a skirmish field. It serves as the red teams spawn point, and when the siren goes you see airsofters just exploding out of every opening, some almost diving headfirst out of the broken windows. It was 32 degrees though, so stalemates were common as almost nobody was willing to move any faster than a slow amble. If you get a chance to come here, do bring your AEG :p.

Winter Loadouts.

hey guys, as obviously winter is upon us, am interested in seeing people's winter loadouts, and list all of the kit off

i'll get the ball rolling, start off with my december 1944/january 1945 bastogne gear.

from head to toe,

Head:
M1c Helmet, removed the leatherchincup, but kept the A-frames on show.
as commonly seen, an improvised white helmet cover which would have been made form bed sheets, in this case from an old T-shirt.

uniform:
as you can see, this is a greek overcoat made in 1955, which is a very similiar replica of the m1942 overcoat which were issued in 1944 after op. market garden.
underneath that is the M43 jacket
underneath that is a US enlisted man's shirt.
M43 trousers, note these are not the one with the attached cargo pockets and the leg ties.
leather Jump Boots, some of the soldiers held onto their jump boots as they prefered them over to the buckle boots.

Webbing:
m1936 suspenders
BAR belt
first aid pouch
canteen and cover
and E-tool cover, no e-tool as it gets in the way alot so i just ditch it.
gloves are the paratrooper leather gloves, should be the winter gloves which have the leather palms.

pretty much wear what i usually do, but with good thermal layers.
