Re: CIA / 1stSFOD-DELTA , SEAL, MARSOC Inspired loadouts
I'm no loadout specialist and god know there are people on here who are far better gear heads than me but first impression was definitely more CIA/PMC look. From what I have found in terms of CIA Special Activities Division images, you can go with the Pakol, Ballcap or Beanie. If you want to stick with the ball cap, ditch the goggles, not diggin that look. You could wear them somewhere else on your kit like maybe the shoulder strap of your vest (obviously not the side you shoulder your weapon), just an idea though. It is close to a PMC look though all you need is to change to a pair of plain coloured tactical trousers and you have a PMC loadout, though I appreciate this is not necessarily what you re going for. As for the M4, if you want to fill some of the rail space, maybe a PEQ-15 and a flashlight. I don't normally recommend bipods on M4's but a Harris style bipod wouldn't look out of place on it. I think the M4 S-System is the only M4 it would look perfectly fine on although this is just my opinion.

This is my marsoc inspired Loadout
#
Raid Woodland BDU
Eagle Plate Carrier in coyote brown, not MJK
i got my new helmet the other day so banged that on instead
Map pack and pouches in MJK and CB
oakley assault boots
Block 2 m4
and should of put my belt kit on really
based off the following
I know the helmet needs to change for an exact replica of that kit, but i cant see why MARSOC wouldnt have acess to ops core

Are you sure those aren't green berets ? Seen that on an other forum with a guy using reference pics that had similar kit to that . I do like that though

Strange , never seen marines with that rifle set up and woodland . I think a certain quote would explain the ops core stuff
"If you want logistics join the army "
When I was doing my research on Force Recon , I noticed a lot of them had privately purchased gear , and I found the odd multicam or khaki vest and 2001/2002 helmets and even a few glocks . Apparently a lot of their guys aren't happy with the springfield .45s .

Re: CIA / 1stSFOD-DELTA , SEAL, MARSOC Inspired loadouts
Marsoc isnt force recon.. MARine Special Operations Command
They are a bit more elite than Recon,
yeah you do see the odd bit of multicam, as well as PCU, most units prefer the glock because all the working parts are incased into the slide, so a bit harder to go faulty, They do love the 45's but they are becoming obsolete.
Recon and Marsoc are issued whats known as FSBE..if you want to know a detailed kit list of the FSBE vist the following
http://www.specwargear.com/FSBE2.html
Like i said, Marsoc are elite and want the best, so i cant see why they wouldnt get the ops core..be it one way or another
This is the caption for the image in question

Re: CIA / 1stSFOD-DELTA , SEAL, MARSOC Inspired loadouts
Yeah I know roughly about MARSOC , my FR loadout is based on a rifle man in the 2002 era which I believe is just before the FSBE II kit was getting issued ? Everything after then I only know a little bit about Depending on how much I like it I may get a DM loadout as well . This is probably the best quide I have found for the FR look. For mine I have taken quite a few changes , mainly since I'm using woodland MarPat , a mich 2001 , a incorrectly labeled MBSS ( more like khaki than the CB it was listed as ) and a serpa . Although all of those are seen occassionally I'm putting them all together and I hope it comes out looking good

Re: CIA / 1stSFOD-DELTA , SEAL, MARSOC Inspired loadouts
Marsoc- You can still use woodland Marpat
Go for a Mich 2000 instead
Serpa's are fine, alot of operators prefer serpas now you have the QD attachments so you can have it on your leg or chest
id look for a CIRAS or some form of EPC as the MBSS is pretty early to use with Marpat

Re: CIA / 1stSFOD-DELTA , SEAL, MARSOC Inspired loadouts
I have a RG ciras , I was all about 75th Rangers back then , I've been trying to not by anymore vests actually as I always seem to use my MBSS and the Ciras and LBT sit gathering dust , I'm not too fond of the mich 2000 I have it tends to make my head look tiny and the straps are just awful , need to find some new straps it and get a 1 whole nvg mount for it to make it look the part . About to order quite a lot of accessories from HK so expect some updates here in the next few weeks !

Re: CIA / 1stSFOD-DELTA , SEAL, MARSOC Inspired loadouts
Marsoc don't want the best, they are issued with the best. got a friend of a friend in Marsoc ( who i bum for info and maybe gear :D ) they get issued with everything.. want another pair of Sordins? ok sure, have to find what they get issued with, which is a standard grunt stuff, mich2000 eagle ciras or marciras, as well as VBSS and a standard plate carrier, a MARSOC loadout is won or lost on the rig and helmet, ditch all the gucci stuff. and go for a standard Mich 2000, a 3 point NVG mount with rhino arm and a strobe. no fancy stuff, either tan or a helmet cover. MARSOC maybe special but half the stuff people think they get they don't they still get issued.
where as FR.. prev 2006 would get and wear what ever they want, a standard force recon load-out is all green side these days. ghille and what not.
a marsoc loadout i would be happy to wear:
Mich2000 at a Push 2001.
NVG mount + rhino arm
strobe
tan or helmet cover
Eagle MARCIRAS or CIRAS ( again at a push a VBSS or plate carrier)
if VBSS or plate carrier chosen, noramlly a paca under it
all the standard pouch stuff.
m16 with peq 15
ACOG
M203
tan flight suit
Marpat
marine boots
knee pads ( can't remember name, tan with black or tan pads)
drop leg holster, normally safari land 6004 at a push a serpa
gloves
Mechanix or something similar
aviator gloves tan or green
Oakleys.
