For those interested, as I get a lot of PM's asking about kit etc, please find below my full kit list.

However I'm updating my load out to a MARSOC load out with M81 Crye's & prob get a Crye CPC etc so this next lot of pics will prob be my last lot of USMC Grunt Style images until I next wear it (& able to take pics).

May well sell some stuff off such as my vest and boots to any interested parties but that is a month or two away.

I'm putting together a woodland USMC Force Recon loadout and have been using ArmA 2 as a base as I can't find any reference pics and need a little help...

Which rig would be better a RRV or RAV in OD and OD/SG respectively?

Are you wanting to do an actual FR loadout or one based on a computer game?

I'd prefer it closer to RS but I can't find any pics of FR in combat in woodland kit so used ArmA 2 as a base as BI do very good research.
The RRV looks like it would be better for the game version but for the RS would a RAV be better or was the RAV confined to just the Army?

Also any reference pics would be great!

Pretty sure a RAV would be wrong, especially in anything but Coyote Brown. Try this for a decent guide:

I'm using MARPAT boonie and trousers, generic OD tactical jumper and WAS 901 in OD.

I believe the 901 is based on the RRV but OD wouldn't be right

Okay cheers, so I assume ArmA was wrong in giving FR OD?

Also would LC2 belts be good?

I should mention I'm not going for the ultra modern as I just can't afford brand new top of the line gear

I've never seen FR in a RAV of any colour, like you say RAV's are used by US Army SF. FR get the EI Land CIRAS, MBSS and RRV (usually see over a PACA) all in CB (not MJK), there are also pics of FR using SPC's.
