See if someone wants to swap a tan 901 for your OD one.

If you're going for a RRV you might want to run a belt rig also. The EI is like rocking horse poop, and priced as such. The Warrior PLB belt is a reasonable alternative

I've recently decided to get into MilSim as a few good friends have moved towards that sort of playstyle. I've never really had a specific loadout before but as they run as a USMC Group I have started to put together a loadout and this thread has been very helpful!

This is my gear so far...




I am awaiting delivery of my Desert Marpat, LC-2 Belt and Yoke with Pouches and my Comms (Bowman PRC-343 /w Hi-Gain Antenna and a Clansman 349)

Any comments (good or bad) are welcome.

Shaide thats a really nice kit.. I'm sure I read somewhere that the USMC don't paint their guns but I really like your M4s paint scheme!! What colours and paint did you use?

Anyway here is my gear for my MARSOC/Force Recon loadout..

This is the closest I've gotten to completely finishing a rig for a modern unit loadout but I know its not quite there yet. I know the NVG set up is wrong for one and overtime I'm planning on replacing some of bits to issue or good relica items where possible and I need to get a belt mounted holster. and then gradually the smaller little detail its

But if there's anything anyone could suggest to improve it it would be great!!

All the Pantac and Flyye is coyote brown and the rest is coyote tan
For some reason the Pantac coyote brown seems to be coming up a lot lighter in the photo and the Flyye a lot darker than in real life. The PACA is in ranger green as I could not find a tan one in the UK at all!

I find painted weapons are usually hit and miss.. but that is certainly a hit!

Good loadout buddy. Not sure how realistic you want it to be but the first thing I would change are the boots. Either Danner rat boots or Bates. Also Nick is correct about painted weapons, afaik its a no no for the average grunt. few pouches you may already have but I cant see them, IFAK and a dump pouch. Otherwise good job

Well I needed an Bog Standard M4 for MilSims and I had to get one with the budget I had - so it will do - I am saving towards a PTW currently but for now it suits my needs

In regards to boots they are on my list, however my current boots are only 6 months old so as you can imagine they're not a high priority item as of yet - same with Knee Pads as I am looking out for a set of Bijans.

Pouches - I have a dump pouch as well as an IFAK Pouch on the way

This gear is literally a few weeks in progress, so i am far from finished!

Try and get a proper IFAK if you can. Individual Marine loadouts may vary, but the IFAK is one constant.

Hi guys I see you know about the USMC stuff. I am trying to get a value on some latest USMC kit I have to sell and without hijacking this thread would you be so kind as to have a look and leave your opinions there?

This is the ONLY photo of me from our Team Training Day on Saturday. - I look a bit startled as this was a pitch black room that I was sneaking through, then the camera guy popped out of no where and blinded me!
