Who?
Any opinions expressed by me may not be mine. I don't have opinions anymore. I have a mortgage and teenagers. I used to be a wild, party animal. Now I buy my trousers at M & S.

It's been confirmed by people in the know from different forums, that info gets passed around.

Re: SBS and/or Royal Marines Mountain Leader Loadout - HELP NEEDED
Fully expect to get flamed by some for this, but here goes..
Wear what you want. It's an impression. We're playing with toy guns, albeit expensive ones, that are the least accurate thing in the world. We're not doing it for real, even if you've been and done a Stirling Selection Weekend. If you want to wear dpm, mtp, multicam, camogrom, or a camouflage onesie from Plymuff Pannier Market, or Crye Gen XVI, that's fine. If one of us wants to say "from what I know of SF they wear 'x', so there" and someone else replies with "well, from what I know of SF they don't" it just gets tedious. The rest of us suffer while you have an online argument.
Personally, I think you should just go with what you're comfy in and what you can afford. The real blokes get issued their kit - we don't, and there lies the nub of the problem. Too many people get too het up about spending shocking levels of cash on kit that may make them look good, but in reality doesn't improve their game playing. So what if it's not quite perfect, as worn in ToraboraelSayerenHelmand on a sunny Thursday in June three years ago? As long as you, the individual are happy and comfy and safe, thats what counts. I will say this time and time again when a load out thread dissolves into a keyboard bitchfest, until the point gets through. I have no time for bullies, real or internet, and it makes the participants look like a complete underpant. Think before you get annoyed and make a t*t of yourself. Remember, we're PLAYING. Go and look it up in a dictionary.
To the OP, have a look on the internet - there is plenty of source material available, and good luck.

Re: SBS and/or Royal Marines Mountain Leader Loadout - HELP NEEDED
Yeah dont take it all too seriously, its just a larf with the lads. There's really no need to analyse these so called SBS/SAS pics and get all this kit and have a picture taken of you in the living room next to your brother's leggo set.
And for fucks sake, dont wear any specialist badges, ie jump wings, your on a thin line from becoming a walt.

Re: SBS and/or Royal Marines Mountain Leader Loadout - HELP NEEDED
Sean and I are amongst a secret, elite group of men called "Nice Chaps". We have been known to have online virtual picnics to counter the rude behaviour displayed by some. We strike, quietly and politely, wearing people down with courtesy.
