Yellow cast throughout I believe. I need to clean it up with some yellow and find some stickers.

Re: ARU Police loadout
Apologies for the poor quality, the flash on my camera has packed in and the lighting in the house is terrible. I shall try to get better photos asap.
You can only just make it out, but the trousers have 2 built in glock mag pouches on the thighs (horizontal) and knee pads. Just need to sort out a replica ASP baton (I'm thinking along the lines of an old fishing rod) and remember to wear my gloves next time, and I should be sorted. Very pleased with how this has turned out.

Re: ARU Police loadout
This should split a few opinions. Doesn't feel as nice, or make the same noise as a real ASP but it's pretty damn close!
Training ASP made from FRP, feels very close to the real thing and can be drawn using the same technique (just without the satisfying crack). Nowhere near the weight and if you were to clobber someone with it the thing would break into 3 separate pieces (that can recovered and put back together) but it should do nicely for Airsoft purposes.
All I need now is the holster/scabbard (not sure which it is to be honest) to arrive.

Manufacturers and sellers of training gear. I had an online single use coupon handed to me through work from a client (no idea who) as a Christmas present, as they knew what I get up to in my spare time... somehow?!
Either way I put it to good use
£25 exc. VAT is a great price, and being training equipment it is harmless and is not a restrictive purchase. I imagine it would be illegal to carry in public as a realistic imitation weapon, but to be honest if you are carrying one of these in public you are asking for trouble!

Re: ARU Police loadout
crasstoe I would urge caution with that item.
Plastic training baton or not you would still have a hard time explaining yourself should you be spoken to by an officer seeing you with it.
Not trying to be a spoil sport as I like the idea of them, but it may draw unwanted attention from fellow airsofters who do not know it's a replica.
However, nice find!

Noted, but should the brown stuff hit the fan I would simply hand it over. I think a cut down fishing rod is more of a risk but I see your point.

I don't think you'd have any more of a hard time than you would with any other baton replica (eg the fishing rod handle). after all, as soon as you pick it up it would be obvious it's not real (the real ones are pretty weighty)

Re: ARU Police loadout
I find it funny how a well known supplier with 999 in it's name won't sell the training batons and class them the same as the fully operational ones, yet this other shop does.

The restrictions on real asps are only shop enforced, not by law. It isn't illegal to own an asp, or buy one, its only illegal to carry it in publc

it's been illegal to buy one since for a while. according to wikipedia it's been illegal since 1988, but I'm sure I've seen somewhere that reckoned it only became illegal in 2002.
either way, there is a law in force which prevent their sale, import etc (except for police purposes etc)
