Saturday in the snow, fantastic day out. The numbers at Fearful were lower than usual, but didn't detract from the days play in the slightest.

I dont get out of bed for anything less than 30degree's and blue skies.

On a serious note tho, due to our location we pretty much constantly have a breeze or wind. Think the strangest weather ive played in was fog with zero visability. I mean I could just about see about 5m's infront. It made it intresting to say the least. Other than that gale force wind with driving rain. mmmmm I really didnt enjoy that game.

Played in the snow at AWEversley's chrissy fancy dress day, was brilliant.

My Pimp, Daddy Gangsta zebra striped suit was well good camo, apart from the red christmas lights on my hat no bugger could see me.

Re: Would Bad Weather Stop You Playing?

Snow is extremely fun. I'm surprised TKOS hasn't mentioned Treadstone's most recent outing to Gunman in the snow! It was a really, really good day.

The only thing is.. unless there are some bushes around it IS really hard to hide unless you have snow/white camo like two guys did! Even then, because in the cold most bushes and trees have no leaves.. if you move you're easy to spot.

But still, it was interesting playing in the snow. Around London/Herts we had a few inches of it! Made running around pretty sluggish, but that little spray of snow as bbs fly into it makes it just like the movies!

Also, it CAN be hard to see where you're shooting if your enemy is low down in the snow, and I had fingerless gloves (easier to reload and stuff i find) so anytime I touched the floor I had serious freezing pain afterwards! And of course I kept having to suck snow out of my barrel and off of the feed tube on the mags when I put stuff on the ground.

All in all though, I (very childishly) love the appeal of going to airsoft in bad weather. Makes me feel like a proper extreme soldier in some terrible environment somewhere!

..oh.. and if it's windy.. tilt your gun to the side so the hop makes the bb go the other way! haha

Re: Would Bad Weather Stop You Playing?

the weather has never made or ruined a day for me. It's more the people that have been playing. if i'm having a laugh then who cares what the weather is doing.

Having said that, indoor CQB in my opinion is what winters are for.
