            As per the first post:

i am posting this to see if anyone else has hassle with the Royal "pain in the arse" Mail?
i have had packages lost damaged and even sent back because they cant read.

my last experience and this has pissed me off is the 100 mile 4 hour round trip to collect one of my guns from the distribution depo.

i sent it by royal mail 48hr parcel service and it went off ok
i received a letter 1 week later asking me to collect it asap as "due to its contence" it couldn't be shipped on.
i phoned and arranged a time to collect.

I arrived to be asked in to a side office where a policeman and a postal worker both sat
i had to prove my identy and that i was UKARA reg and they still thought the gun was real!!!
only until it was inspected (by the policeman) that they found out it was a toy and i was not the arms dealing terroist they once thought.
I APOLOGISE IN ADVANCE IF I BREAK THE RULES.

Sorry my bad.... although to use parcel force you normally have to go through royal mail.

IIRC they are "Sister Companies" Basically 2 companies hand in hand with the same management or at least directorship.....

                    Ahh ok.

Sending some thing via registered or special delivery will have nothing to do with Parcel force tho I think?

Thats why im confused about the thread anyway lol

                      Re: Royal Mail are USELESS

1st,2nd,Standard,Recorded and Registered(Special) Deliveries are Royal Mail.
                      48hr is Parcel Force.

Royal Mail(postal deliveries),Post Office(counters) and Parcel Force(well...parcels) all come under the Royal Mail envelope.A bit like Army,Navy and Airforce come under MOD.
                      Wipe them out.All of them.
