i would quite happily sit and delete threads with no pictures all day long (im permanently logged in as it is so might as well do something while im support to be working =P)

with regards to uploading pictures, i use Tinypic.com its the easiest site in the world to use. choose file, select what size you want it, and it spits out 4 codes for you to use. there is simply no excuse for not being able to upload a photo. you can buy a digital camera form currys for £25!
    For Sale!

      Re: Buying second hand

The ones that really annoy me are the guys who post in the appraisals section saying, 'how much is blah. blah, blah, worth' and they don't include pictures. It's almost as if they are trying to justify the piece of crap they are selling, just so they can tell the poor sod who buys it 'well, so and so in the appraisals forum told me it was worth £££'.

We can't give you an appraisal without pictures and good ones at that, like someone said earlier it's like trying to sell your car without pictures, when the poor sod buys it he finds out he has actually bought a write off!

Sounds like your on about the direct uploaders, built into the forum, yeh, they are cack, but you dont have to use them
I use tapatalk to upload my photos as I can't be arsed with uploading to my comp and then to the forum.

Takes 30secs and never had a problem yet.

Send the seller a polite PM mate, explaining it's not rare and it can be purchased new elsewhere in the UK (No links). Point them to this thread on the discussion of pricing, I would like to hear from the sellers who price highly as well, it would be nice for them to try and explain why it is they think thier items are rare or collectible or massively upgraded or in fact whether they are just simply chancing thier arm at getting more than it's worth, oops, sorry, more than a fair price.

The problem I see with people pricing items realistically, is that the "Fizzy's Bargain Of The Week" thread would be no where near as entertaining!

And actually, a lot of the scammers/rip off merchants do supply pictures, usually someone else's, that they've probably Googled for
                  Completely agree with you there.

As for the photos, that's why they ask for the item to be pictured next to a scrap of paper with your name/username on. Or a loaf of hovis on one particular forum

Yeah there seems to be more and more of these things recently, like an M4 GBB, used with loose or missing bits for £200 when you can buy it brand new from Zero One for £215 with postage.

My favourite was when looking at someone's sale thread and the Z1 banner had THE EXACT SAME ITEM for less! That was worth a good laugh.

99p I think it was, not exactly a fortune.
In the world of £150 BFGs I don't think it's much to pay for the convinence of being able to take and insert photos using the same app.

This is against Paypal's t&c's, as is saying: £40 by Bank Transfer or add 4% is paying by paypal.

Paypal state, if you want to accept paypal as a payment method, you eat the fee's.

I don't think anyone has said it yet and I can't believe it.

Missing XYZ,Easy fix, parts are cheap.

This usually means that they have searched for the part and had absolutely no luck at all, They took the gun apart and lost a spring that is impossible to replace or They found the parts needed to fix the gun but its going to cost me £20 more than they paid for the gun oh and the postage from America is another £20.
