Preferred CQB weapons
12 August, 2013, 10:27
Not counting pistols, but when it comes to a close range rifle/smg, what do people prefer? Ive got my M4 which i love, but its a tad long and im buggered if im swapping out the barrel and chopping it down as its lovely the way it is.
Im giving some though to an MP5 variant or one of those little cut down CRW (i think) M4 variants to enable me to still use the same mags.
Input people!
Damn Brad, what else you got hidden in the humvee - a fat chick?

Re: Preferred CQB weapons
I like using my M4 but i have a Tm MP7A1 as a Back up for the tight corners. But only if my GBB pistols are playing up.
If god was an AEG, i have owned him at some point....

No more than 250 at this stage. Ive got my eye on a lovely G&G Mp5 with a retractable stock with RIS and raised scope mount. it looks a beauty for being able to switch between use indoors and outdoors

Like said above the tm p90 is the best cqb gun I have used, the look of them isn't to everyone's taste though

Cheapy tri-shot shotty - most fun you can have in CQB for sub £60 (plus shells). Pistol for back-up and you are away!

Re: Preferred CQB weapons
Hi,
I have a G&P AEG CQB MOE which i love.
This gun is perfect for all the scenarios that
yo need in every airsoft game mode like
woodland and urban. Get this gun because it
is an M4 but it is light weight and very fun to use.
then if you want to you can fit a systema gearbox inside
so that the other team dont have another chance!
Cheers,
James

i should read the above quotes,
i dont know many then or you can cut down the size
of your M4 barrel and then get a smaller hand guard
which is perfect for CQB.

Re: Preferred CQB weapons
what about
:
1) Magpul PDR - uses M4 mags
2) MP5K (+1 Dutch) - i used to have the PDW vers, they're great for CQB
3) MP7 - a little under powered maybe, but just about perfect for CQB
my CQB-specific armoury comprises: SPAS12, MP5SD or shortened M4

I know the OP wrote "not counting pistols" but I do use pistols as primary for CQB. Great for moving quickly.

Ive used my p226 so far and its a beaut, but id like the option. As for the MP5k, while they are damn nice, i am a giant of a man and they look a bit odd on me, kinda like this:

all because im a golem of a man.

Re: Preferred CQB weapons
The VFC Dagger is a beast of little gun.
The fighting cat, tank and any stubby killer will be equally suitable. I had a Classic Army Seals Compact and that was truly fearsome. Perfect size for CQB but awesome in woodland too.
