Bought a TM G3 SG1 off somebody here a few weeks ago and have only just had the chance to take it apart. However I've found this crack. Not knowing anything about airsoft reaally, im wondering if this is normal? It doesnt bloody look it! Is it broke?

yes thats bloody broke!

Yep, that's a broken gearbox case, a common thing to happen on V2/3s.

ive had 2 GB's do that too mee.....bloody nightmare..

is it worth chasing the guy who sold it to me? havent even used it yet, how much is it to replace?

is it worth chasing the guy who sold it to me? havent even used it yet, how much is it to replace?

actually Fizzy has made a good point,, (we had a thread on this last week)in that if its been a couple of weeks regardless whether you fired your new gun or not,its a bit late to make the seller do anything about it,he is under no obligation,and if he does anything positive then fair play to the guy

liike mid april. i know what your saying, but part of the reason ive not been able to use it is the seller also didnt supply a charger. ive been waiting for it in the post as he said hed send it along (that was about 3 weeks ago).

Tbh he's under no obligation to do anything then, although if you bought it with a charger and it hasn't arrived, then the sale isn't complete (IMO)

im surprised Rossy said that he may not have noticed...im sure the performance would have been effected,and i believe the sound of it would have given it away...maybe someone can correct me on this as i have never experienced a fail like that before

i guess id like to know if he knew the condition of the gun when he sold it. im not expecting miracles, but it be happy with the charger and an apology if he was aware i guess.
