    Re: Airsofting in this weather

what you refer to as 'this weather' - very hot - is basically 'the weather' over here. most outdoor games i've played have been 29 degrees, 98% humidity - sometimes it's just pure torture. i have no choice but to wear a teeshirt, which is fine with me, but you do get the odd powerful shot clip your skin or nipple. scraping your flesh on sharp branches and stuff is worse, or just getting bitten by mozzies. coupled with all the asian people and harsh jungle terrain, some days it feels like 'nam. and not birmingnam.

in saying that, it's been tonking it down for a week now. seriously, i've never seen it rain so much in all my life, which, coming from britain, is a big statement. good job there's plenty of indoor cqb sites here.

        What colour was it?

Seriously, if you're p'ing brown, you need more fluids as you're dehydrated.

That's not strictly true - that is only the hottest it has been since records of temperatures began. The UK has been warmer at various previous points in history and prehistory.:p

I played last Saturday and it was a good 27 degrees c. My kit involves a balaclava and British army goggles (they don't fit right without the headmask!)

Was pretty warm, the best thing to do is to tone down the running to light jogging, keep the breathing controlled, and drink plenty!
