Re: Hephaestus Custom: Thunder
It's gonna cost not less than 650-700$,but I believe it'll be more in the 700-800$ range,so I'll pass.

Re: Hephaestus Custom: Thunder
What makes you say that?
Bearing in mind all of GHK offerings including full steel and wood AKs have and are reasonably priced.
section 24 of the 1968 Act
Supplying imitation firearms to minors
1)It is an offence for a person under the age of eighteen to purchase an imitation firearm
2)It is an offence to sell an imitation firearm to a person under the age of eighteen.

I don't like this model,so can't justify that amount for it.

What amount?
Your idea is pure speculation.
If its going to be priced realistically, at least look at their AKs.
360 pounds give or take, very fair price for externals just about as good as innokatsu and the hardest kick available across all the AK GBBRs.

Re: Hephaestus Custom: Thunder
It's not speculation, you just need to look at what prices Haephaestus guns are usually sold..
If it's going to be overpriced (650$+) I won't consider it,simple.
But I hope I'm wrong.
All in all,it may have a nice kick and anything else, but I just don't like it.
But,for a good price,I might give it a try..

My WE kicked like a mule, maybe that's why it snapped it's trigger. :/
Always wanted to try a GHK gun, I have heard excellent reports, especially with gas efficiency and performance. This little baby looks epic though, that video has got me genuinely excited.
Must come with option for grenade launcher though.

Re: Hephaestus Custom: Thunder
Quick question - GHK make 7.62 mags, are they accurate enough replicas that the 7.62 mags dont fit in something like this designed for 5.45 mags? Because surely then those that wanted to run 7.62 mags could indeed run 7.62 mags, thus eliminating the one flaw in this replica?

Re: Hephaestus Custom: Thunder
Not my cuppa, but i can appreciate the phenomenal amount of work; both R&D and construction, that must have gone into it.
Id love to be able to play with a GBBR, but my locals are some of the aforementioned ones where they're banned. I understand why, but it still disappointing.
And given id only want an Inokatsu M4, i couldn't justify £1000+ with mag's for something id only use on one or two away-days/milsims a year.
