one of my teams mates had 2 of these at the weekend, it failed to detonate twice, they really do have to have a good impact behind them to go off, so dropping it through a window probally wnt set it off we gave it a little under arm throw a couple of meters away and nothing happened, threw it up some stairs and nothing happened.
these are cool pieces of kit, but are more for when your stacking up on a door and you just chuck it at the floor before entering
