Thankyou sir! Lot of effort put into him, especially with the woodwork.

Re: Pictures Of Your Guns
A question, is that boot-polish for the black wear look on the wood? Or paint that was stripped, and left marks?

Re: Pictures Of Your Guns
yeah basically the wood was very pale once i carved it:
(This was before the metal ageing too.)
Basically, i scratched and dented and nicked the wood until i was happy. Then i painted the whole thing with black acrylic paint and left to dry. The longer you leave it on, and the more concentrated the paint solution, the more intense and darker the stain is.
I then wiped away the paint with a wet rag, and treated the wood with linseed oil to bring out the richness.

Re: Pictures Of Your Guns
unfortunately, your thompson is so attractive that, if i had it, i would spend my skirmish time looking at its loveliness rather than shooting people with it. my preciousssssss...
and yes, there really is too much magpul on this thread. seriously, zeroe's pictures won't even show on my screen - probably because of the copious amounts of customization on there. take a leaf out of kershmallow's book and make it
beautiful
, not bling. there's a difference.

TM VSR 10 with Karsten Cheekrest and King Arms Bi-pod.
Theres more to be added including a flash hider / compensator and lots to do internally. But it just after getting a fresh paintjob at the weekend after about 10 hours of sanding and prep. Im officially in love with it.

Re: Pictures Of Your Guns
funky chunky, ignore what everyones saying about your gun you posted, i think it look really nice, very original, think the elcan would be a much beter choice than using irons. Not sure about the full stock version, think it just looks horid. That could be a gun off an Alien movie, is what im thinking perhaps.
I apologize for anything that might pxss you off

ACM M500 gas with RS railed pump. Next up RS top folding stock, oh and a replacement O-ring to stop it leaking.

I love that job you have done to that VSR, bolt actions aren't my thing, but that looks lovely.

The Thompson is the best i have ever seen.
I bet a lot of effort and time has gone into it.
