It was a pain in the arse.

I got it and it wasn't working right so instead of sending it back to cheapsoft land I whipped out the trusty Soldering Iron and now its good. I'm thinking about running it on a 9v battery instead of the 4 AAA's which put out roughly 5v.

My warrior l96, soon to be upgraded with tight barrel, barrel spacers, and silencer & adapter.

Oh, and ive taped on a carboard tube at the end to make it look uber cool :D Does anyone know how well camo creams works on sniper tape? Or is spray paint better?

Just some friendly advise, SGT SNIPER told me to use a hairdrier on the sniper tape when you put it on as it sticks much better and my VSR looked so much better after i re-taped it.

Loving the AK a few posts ago.

the tape does look a little thick, is that scim net wrapped around the end of the barrel??? i think it's called scrim net, my brain's gone dead

Yeah i taped ALOT, wanted a thick and real look. Yes its scrim. I put elastic bands on when im using it in a game, so i can stuff grass and leaves under them, works well

Dont use spray paint over sniper tape, primer coat the original colour black or white then spray, use camo cream if you want on sniper tape.
