    Re-did my Desert Warrior in black. Guarder metal slide and TM MEU lower receiver.

              Hi guys, is there any way to have a threaded barrel for a TM 1911 (or any other threading) which is not visible when no supressor is mounted (so internal threading)?

                You can buy the TK One Touch adapter that screws into then outer barrel, but this isn't great because if you tighten it too much it will strip the threads it has cut.

                  the Tk one touch adapters are good but as said don't over tighten them. i have one installed on my spare meu outer barrel for my kimber.

                    Isnt the 1911 and meu outer barrels different though and the adapter wont fit a normal 1911

                        Hi-cappa barrels are different as they are cone shaped since they do not use a barrel bushing.
