This is my WE 1911 - Hogue grips - shortened snubby front and a CQB Master 4 inch slide. Weigh in at just over a Kilo. I have both flat bottomed mags and bumper mags.

Future mods - I'd like to get an extended beavertail safety for the WE bottom half. Not sure where I can get these .... Also I'll probably at some point change the trigger and maybe polish the chrome to a mirror finish (or close as).

Same as above but in black and a rail. Ive ordered a battleaxe glock rail that attaches to the small front under rail and floats just on top of the slide (ive heard with a bit of work they'll fit on the 1911), I'll put a doctor type mini red dot on that and see how it looks.

Its the full size grips I like on these.

VZGrips finally came through with my work related engravings. I was a tad concerned for a little while but luckily they dropped right on to my HurricanE Desert Warrior really nicely; unfortunately however because they're the slim cut the stock grip screws protrude a lot and look s*** so I'll hold up the taking pictures of the entire weapon until that particular eye sore is addressed.
