The Elcan, rail extention and the VFC EGLM add a tonne of weight to the gun but it's worth every kilo in the field

For the whole fitting or just modding the grip?

He said that he needs the subject gun as well to ensure the proper fitting. You would need to have the grip already purchased too.

For the money you won't find better than sightmark. Designed for real steel so will put up with recoil. Costs a lot less than a hurricane eotech. I did a review on it if you search the forums. Go a few posts back on this thread and you'll find my setup.

I put a maple leaf hop in my gbbr SCAR a few weeks ago. Finally got it fielded this weekend, and it was like using a completely different gun.

Anyone know if there's a way to mod the stock on a tm scar recoil so I can get in a bigger battery??

Thanks for that useful info. I asked for a stock mod not what type of battery to put in, I already use lipos.

I believe he means there is no mod, therefore a lipo is your only option for having a internal powerful battery source.

The only other option is put a m4 pouch on the stock and have a remote battery source
