Re: Nineball gas routers for TM GBB mags
christ, i hate doing this but i'd rather necro post than start up a new thread. once again sorry about it.
i've got these in my 229 and the shims, very good upgrades the pair of them. but that's not what i'm asking about. would these gas routers fit into a TM 5-7 at all? the stock routers look very familiar to the stock 229 ones. If they will fit i'll definitely get some and some shims.

Re: Nineball gas routers for TM GBB mags
Im not sure chap. They may look the same, until you fit them! Do you have the original routers from you hi capa? Have you tried them in your 5-7?
Im about to get back into Hi Capas again. These are definately on the list from the off, but I cant decide if I want the shims as well on a plastic slide. The only difference is that there will be no dremelled high flow valves this time.
Hmm...

Re: Nineball gas routers for TM GBB mags
The same as what's quoted on the box really, 15fps increase and a slightly snappier action with higher kick, combined with shims I've had a 25fps increase.

Re: Nineball gas routers for TM GBB mags
Well it was more stable.
What we don't know is at what temperature you did this at and with any other components installed, also was the temperature exactly the same between the 2 different sets of readings?
Most of us have had vastly improved readings with these installed.

Temperature was around 13.6°C with propane.
The Hi-Capa is stock, wonder if these reading are not a bit too low for a Hi-Capa with propane...

To my knowledge they are only compatible with Hi-Capa and Sig magazine...
