BFG's aren't allowed at UA

fps limits are 345 for aeg's and pistols, on a 0.2
fps limit for snipers is 400 on a 0.2

It might have changed since we were last there, but 9mm BFGs weren't allowed. We asked, but were told they were too loud, as the neighbours liked to complain about the noise. When crasstoe said 'pop' he really meant it, you can shout louder

Personally I think they should land B52s there again and show the neighbours what noise really is! :p

Far simpler if that is now the case. TOBI you would do best to ask but it's looking like you wont be able to use one.

I miss home made claymores and Mk5s at UA, good fun.

Yep, only the Canister Grenades you buy on site are allowed to be used because of the neighbours. Smokes are the same, which is unfortunate as they would make assaulting buildings easier!

interesting read on the building layouts but its hard to imagine visually, I'm looking to pop up there soon would anyone care to draw me a floor plan of these buildings as this will be great help to understand some of the comments of the layout. I'm a visual person not a reading one lol

kinda of but thank you anyway. what I was looking for was the room layouts of the main buildings used. such as the embassy, casino, bank and police station you guys have mentioned. where the stairs, rooms are and entrances.

I've played at UA a fair few times over the years...all in all it is a pretty good site. I think it is well run the majority of the time.

Like some people have said, there are a few cheats, but you get that everywhere. Some days are worse than others but hey, it's airsofting. The marshalls do a good job so I always let one know if I witness cheating, both enemy and our team.

Inside buildings is full auto, however, in the first game I have often had it where they will say semi only just as a warm up!

I LOVE AIRSOFT- That would've been much handier than me typing out 4 feckin' essays on what the buildings were like. But still, my info stands!

There is no main building at UA, they are all pretty significant. Most of the smaller buildings have stairwells in the centre of the H.

The Hospital And Prison are out of bounds now on that map as well. The Library is usually only used as a spawn too.

Ill be there this Sat so should be good to see you guys.

Im liking alot of whats being said i have to say,alot of the advice is bang on.

I personaly never use pyro at UA, apart from a Milsim day. Because of the rules behind them its very easy just to step out of the way of pyro but still cover the same place. You will see when you get there You will find that most pryo that affective is frown in from outsude to flush players out into your line of fire.

You will find some plays use the full auto rule constantly, but others will stick to semi or Pistols.

The best advise to give is think outside the box when attacking or deffending a building. Way to many people think of the game as two lines clashing or that some one is just going to walk into your nice little line of fire. There are only 5-6 place in the whole site that have only one/two ways in and very few ways to put fire in to suppress and these are normaly very small spaces. These are the Garrison tunnels, The B*stard room, The Alamo, the Casino upstairs and Garrison Upstairs.


You will find alot of choke points not being inside buildings but actualy outside, where as said before the open ground plays against you alot more than you would think. Be open minded on the day about how the weither is, as this can work with our against you alot in these open spaces.

One last thing, dont get bogged down unless you have no other choice. Most of the normal guys that go ever other week like my self love this and once you stop the moving its isnt going to start again with alot of tears

I'm coming down with my teammates on the second weekend of may... we always never expect too much when on a 'roadtrip'...purely due to having the mindset of let's just go have a laugh, forget the non hittakers and enjoy it for what it is......
So yeah, we will be trying to win but if we don't..... its only a game! :D
