Re: VSR10 HOP Replacement
He makes awesome parts just remember with springs etc it might tip you over the fps as he works with the rules of up to 700 fps not 500.

Re: VSR10 HOP Replacement
K so I could just get the upgrade package I posted above and I should be good?
Just need to watch out for the spring, I have replied to his email and asked for a spring to keep me at 500
I noticed that the package does not contain a cylinder head
Is there anything else that i would need if i get that package

Re: VSR10 HOP Replacement
Standard cylinder head will probably be fine to be fair, the dampner one is just to keep it silent so they apply more to the g-spec

Re: VSR10 HOP Replacement
thanks for the great feedback, I was searching via google for other posts on VSR's and I found this one, great stuff! hope it helps some peeps.
I ended up ordering the full EDGI package.
Now the Jaru Bane springs were mentioned earlier can one put them with the upgrades I purchased in the VSR10 trigger mech? Would these make my trigger much lighter?
I will have to drill the pin out of my cylinder, I managed to find a 1/8 or 3mm Bit to do the job. I have seen various tutorials on this anyone have experience on this and advice?
And lastly with regards to BB's what do you reccomend?

Re: VSR10 HOP Replacement
Use a pillar drill for the cylinder, you need to have it held in a vice etc and keep it at a slow drilling speed.
BB wise, you'll want heavyweight so .30g upwards. Madbull, SGM's, Devils. There are a whole range out there. With most people its a see what weight you get on with most and also which ones are most cost effective to your budget for games (A cheaper pack of i.e. 1000 .30 ASG Blaster BB's are around 7 quid but you can pay anywhere up to 20 quid for a pack of a couple of thousand of the best quality)

Re: VSR10 HOP Replacement
flip I only have a hand held one, do think if i make a pilot hole I could do it without a vice and Pillar drill?
I have KSC 0.30 and I can get the Madbull 0.43's (What do you think of the Madbulls)
Also do you think I will need a teflon Cylinder with the EDGI Kit that I ordered? what would work well with it?

Re: VSR10 HOP Replacement
Yea madbulls are good, so are the KSC from what I hear (I just use cheap and cheerful at the moment due to joblessness)
You will need a vice either way. If you cant best thing to do is ask your local shop etc if they have someone who can do it for you or if you have a sniper at your site who does a lot of guns (there are like 5 or 6 of us at MCG) then ask one of them as they will of done it many times and even if they charge a small nominal fee at least you know its done and done properly.

Re: VSR10 HOP Replacement
If I would like to get a teflon cylinder to bypass the removal of the pin could I get the laylax teflon cylinder?
http://www.redwolfairsoft.com/******...l?prodID=17927
Would this work well with the EDGI Parts?
