Has any other site got a napalm rule? Basically if you're caught cheating by a marshal more than once, the closest teammate is also dead, then if caught again the closest two TM are dead and so on?

Re: Hmm fighting invincible players now
our site operator has anice little rule that thankfully hasnt had to be used in a while. If you are sure you have hit someone and they havent taken their hit then you can get up go over and ask them if they were hit or not, sometimes people just dont feel them but its a nicer way of confirming rather than just shouting take your hits.

Re: Hmm fighting invincible players now
I wonder just how many times I have been hit, but had no idea. Was playing a team game once attacking the flag, and a mate (on my team!) shot me in the shoulder, hitting the padded strap of the tac vest from about 10 meters away.
Had absolutely no idea until he said after!
Two levels to hit taking really, there is taking it in the first place, which could be a genuine mistake. But if anybody ever came up and said I got you, then I'd take that straight away!

Lol ask your site operator about it, you never know it might cut down on people not taking hits and add another level of social banter between players new and old ;p

Re: Hmm fighting invincible players now
We have a couple of regular teflons out my local site. 5 of us got the drop on one of them, so being a bit too far to call a "bang", we lit him up like the 4th of July. After he'd been hit multiple times, he turned around, took aim, and opened up on us, (in front of a marshall). The marshall, (obviously), called him out. As he walked off, he told 3 others players where we were as he passed them, (same marshall hears this and gives him an ear bashing).
The same guy regularly moans that people shoot at him, (WTF?), and complains to the site owner relentlessly til the site owner allows him back into the game.
I would name him, but that's not fair to me, admitting that I socialise, (airsoft-wise), with him.
All cheats should be shot for real in my personal opinion......

It's the classic shooting somebody from an amazing piece of cover that you've worked hours for, and they are the only person around so they pop up, schoom schoom 2 direct hits in the chest (you can hear the rounds hit htier chest) then look worried, and pop bcak down again!!

Re: Hmm fighting invincible players now
My solution is to aim for the upper thigh as it is a very tender area to hit.

Sometimes if you just ask if you are pretty close up they say, oh i guess i was and walk on.
Knuckle shots are pretty bad as there's not much cushion.

Re: Hmm fighting invincible players now
i recently discovered i had an anti teflon pistol (i will never load it with green gas again) but turns out they have no choice but to take a hit from it as it was more powerful than my sniper (oops adn this is why i should not get gas from a mate mid game when i run out ) should have heard the poor lad
my bad but it was effective 3 shots at close range 1 in the back of each knees 1 to lower back
a near 500fps pistol is a bad way to proove a point but it is single shot only
(now to find the carbine model of it as its quite a tasty pistol and makes little to no noise.may be able to replace my sniper with something smaller and quieter )

Re: Hmm fighting invincible players now
This is why i carry my Katana :P
In all seriousness, Teflons are appearing less and less these days, especially if you take away the guys who dont feel it, but I've had a couple of incidents where ive had to aim for the more tender areas. However, no one ever disputes the Katana

Re: Hmm fighting invincible players now
I remember at one of the first Airsoft games I went to, my buddy and I were stalking the enemy VIP and we were just setting up an ambush when we got spooked. Now, this is the interesting bit. We were spooked by a rooving enemy player, my buddy rolled over and put a collection of shots into his stomach and shoulders but the other player insisted because he was wearing full kevlar inserts he would not die from the injuries...
Neither my buddy or I really knew how to take this, so we accepted our hits and wandered over to a marshall who laughed so hard he had to sit down. Said player has not been seen since
OT - Aim for softer bits, I don't condone headshots but sometimes I feel they are required to ensure an unsporting player doesn't have any doubt. Before I get burned, the sites I've played at have marshalls who don't exactly care so long as their pockets are lined for the weekend so for the most part the games and rules are player enforced.
Does not speak moron.
