did you tape off the fire selector or anything like that?

with the m14 the stock and heat sheild can be removed so didnt need to tape off , iv heard if you make mistakes nail vanish remover will take krylon off not sure if thats true gd luck

i just did the base layer of khaki and it went on really well just used smooth sprays all going one direction, only one bit looks a bit iffy on the silencer but i will brown that bit up

so you guys definately reccomend using tape to do the brown bit then? it just seems a bit regimented doing it that way thats all

no - do not paid brown bits with tape!!!
If you have done the entire gun I would recommend a few light strokes of brown over the top. otherwise it will look far to tidy.

I Sprayed my M14 using Krylon along the lines of Shugharts..hope it helps.

just thought i'd post this for any fans out there, my copy of gary gordons m733, the silencer looks really skinny in this pic for some reason =/ it's up for swaps iff anyones interested ^^

hehe cheers dude, i found spraying freehand without the tape looks far better even if you do make one or two mistakes make sure you dont use too much paint as it drips
