Since this has already been reposted , I have found this on 3 other forums which all stated he was Romanian sf which had links to websites saying as such .

I've no idea if someone has already given you the definitive on this but he's not Brit or Yank, he's an ANA interp (interpreter).

its a definate 100% romanian mercia 32 soldier the insignea on the arm is a shield with a scorpin and 2 swords through it normaly in a red and gold colour but obviously done in tan for the desert
Made a note in my diary on the way here. Simply reads..."Bugger"

You necroed this post from 2 years ago when you can't even figure out what country it is in harry?
I think barson was pretty spot on actually with him being Romanian. The insignia/camo/weapon all work out, as does the fact they were deployed. Not that it matters.
