he he fair one leon, i love irony. HOW DAFT AM I....i bought a tmp cuz i loved it in cod, upon closer inspection the 'tmp' in cod is actually an mp9....MUG!! ha ha just made myself irrelivant in my own thread!!! cant even blag i have a tar-21 cuz of cod cuz if had the jayvor for ages......spaz.

Ive seen a few guns on CoD that made me drool a bit and want one for airsoft, but never actually gone out and bought one. For instance Id love a Vector/Kriss and a UMP. I also really want the SPAS-12, but then again Ive *always* wanted one since I first saw it on Jurassic Park :P its been one of my lifelong obsessions to get one!

Films/Games/TV has a effect on everyone and if you like it, you want to be like that, human nature!

I don't see anything wrong with it, people can do what they want with their dosh.

Myself? I'm even trying to copy the "silenced pistol" on Timesplitters: Future Perfect (old school right there! heh) and is my current project.

Don't get me wrong i've nothing against copying a loadout from TV or a game, it's just the other stuff I mentioned earlier that get's my goat.

The amount of MW2 loadouts around at the moment that are just any old kit chucked together is rather alarming. Don't get me wrong, some look real good, but MW2 they aint!

i bought MW2 because it had an Aug in it and i was sick of MW and cod 5 was dull and a lot to slow.

i have since ordered a H'bar kit but this was part due to the game and part due to the wife offering me anything i wanted for Christmas as i am a sod to buy for also I dropped on a TM Aug that's pre upgraded with a fair few bits that would make it ideal for the base for project H'bar not the random version they show in MW2 (the Aug has no carry handle !!!!! and the bi-pod is from what looks like a m249 not an Aug pet peeve off m chest right there. )

a stock real steel Aug H'bar usually has a built in scope carry handle but obviously that would screw with the advancements system in MW2, so i am going back to a real steel style Hbar OD mil spec reciver.

(there is apparently a version with rail but its not seen often i for one have not found a picture as yet and believe me i have looked)

in short: MW2 just reminded me i wanted an H'bar and a Phantom kit still so i ordered the cheaper of the 2 options the Hbar and i still have another spare donor gun for the Phantom kit when i have more money and finish some of my project guns off.

my only sadness is i cant get the longer style Aug mags as would go with the real steel usually and will have to simply use lots of high caps (luckily i have 18 so that should be enough)

I was so inspired by the weaponry of MW2 I bought a "pav low" and a "stealth bomber" - just clearing through customs ATM - import duties are gonna be a bitch.

i should really play this game, i got it for xmas, and can't be arsed to play another CoD game, for all the hype its a pretty fpS with a very short single player mode and an out dated multiplayer mode, maybe when i finish borderlands... or i have a spare 4 hours.

although once borderlands is done i think it maybe assassin's creed 2.

....Personally I don't, and it got on my nerves a little when people kept asking about my dual Glock 18s and calling them 'akimbo'....

Don't blame COD6 for "akimbo" John Woo has been using that term for years :p

... but the only reason i have a mk23 is because of mgs, and the reason i got my m4/m203/silencer and scope is because thats how i have it on mgs4!

I've also got a VP70M because it was in RE2, a M93R because it was on RE:CV and Parasite Eve 2, A M9 Biohazard because it was in lots of RE games and my current custom build uses a King Arms body because it has the Raccoon Police badge on the side.
The current "loadout" I'm working on is also based on Fallout 3. I'm very much a video game inspired airsofter.

As for COD6 inspiring me, the only things it inspired me to do was to never buy another COD game and to have a look at how much G&P EBR kits are.
I will be getting a magpul PTS ACR when it comes out but that's just because I've always wanted one since Magpul first announced them.

hm actually im the other way around

i owned my TMP for about a year before the game came out - however whenever i played cod 6 i picked up and used the TMP in game whenever i could

same with the m16

basically i based cod 6 on my airsoft haha

I don't have a grudge against people who copy guns from games, I HATE gamers who play CoD and think they are the be all and end all weapons expert. For example I put pictures of my guns on my facebook and it gets on my t!ts when people comment "looks like the one on cod", I facekeyboard.

Note: I know lots about guns beacause I reasearch them as I have all ways had a passion for shooty things and it dose my nut when gamers try to prove me wrong by going what cod says. Like the AUG doing more damage than an m240, don't think so.

Sorry just relised I had a mini-rant.
