If getting the guns out of the country isn't a problem, what about getting them back in? has anyone taken their RIFs abroad before? s36 of the vcra say that you can't import a RIF. how do you prove that you aren't? am i thinking too deeply about this? perhaps i'll have a chat to HMRC and get their view

Have a chat with customs. At the end of the day, if there's a record of you taking them out, bringing them back again should be simple.

As long as you had a 70m engagement range, i'd be happy for you to use it

I've spoken to customs at Gatwick about bringing airsoft guns into the UK. All you have to do is prove that you're an airsofter and you're OK. UKARA/AOBA/UKAPU should be OK.

Obviously, a bus load of airsofters shouldn't have any problems proving that they're players, the kit will be everywhere!

Bus full of terrorists!! So 700fps is out then? 70mtr Engagement range is fine by me since it has a range in excess of 100mtrs lol

In regards to FPS limits, we should keep it simple for all of us and limit it to the canonical 328-350 FPS for AEGs, 400-500 fps for sniper rifles with 20-30m engagement range.

1. Are you interested? -hell Yeah i am very interested.
2. What sort of event do you want? - Themed story no ammo limits im a bugger for runnin out
3. How long do you want to be there for? - One week, 5 days of fun with guns and 2 days of chillaxing

will be makin sure i have the cash for this trip

also lets not have this fizzle out like the mil sim event

This place and what you can do sounds absolutely incredible!!!

1. Very interested but not a definate. Will speak to some mates also on this and see what they think.

2. Oh and a milsim type story would be best, would want to get the most out of it.

3. On the timing I think a week would be the best and flying there obviously the quickest and easiest method assuming the whole RIF thing can be handled well. Couple of days of relaxing and rest airsofting.

Keep up the good work though on sorting it, much respect

Im in favour of mids/lows only rather than ammo limits. If you want to lug 3000 rounds in mids, go for it.

Just out of interest would it be possible to do prices with out travel?

Reason being im sure a couple of guys from Guernsey and Jersey would be up for this. But it would be easier and more cost effective if we drove down our selves.

Just out of interest, how would this sound as a plan for the week?

“Week”
-Saturday: Arrival
-Sunday: Recreation
-Monday: All Day Fight
-Tuesday: All Day Fight
-Wednesday: Recreation
-Thursday: All Day Fight
-Friday: All Day Fight
-Saturday: Departure

This would probably be based on 9-5/6/7 Gaming, with a full day, open plan games.
