  • Reliable airsoft gun

My dad would like to possibly buy a new gun for airsoft, as his JG sig 550 keeps breaking. However, both me and him are annoyed at how easily airsoft guns seem to break. So. He is looking for any kind of common airsoft gun (M4 preferably) that is under £250 and is very reliable.

    any ideas??

G&P M4 (if you look in the right place) or a Classic Army AEG.

That's the problem though, You can get a reliable JG just as easily as you can get a reliable Classic Army. But on the other hand you can also get dogs in the higher bracket of guns too.

You are going to get tons of guys touting good old TM, I guarantee it. Myself however have not had one single TM gun that has been trouble free. In general though, TM are supposed to be reliable I however have not seen it. Also consider Classic Army King Arms and G&P in that price range for M4's

Edit. See, in the time it took me to write that 3 people with the recommendation for TM. Internals fine, plastics are crap.

agreed with above G&P m4's are the best blend of externals and internals at an affordable price.

You can pretty much close this thread now :p

I'd also add ICS to the list, In fact pretty much any brand which is offered with more than a 30 day a warranty from a retailer.
That way if it does break you can always send it back to be repaired for free.

G&P for both externals and internals.

I'd probably plump for a G&P, stick a TM hop sleeve in there, an M90 spring and away you go.

It has to be TM for reliability.
