You do realise this wasn't even news when you originally posted it back in May? So just announcing it's been released, when infact it was released back in 2009, is somewhat 'old news'

In which case i did understand your intent.

I don't recall it being released, but more announced and despite the pre-production models used for reviews etc, this is the first production model released and available to buy.

Granted there was another thread prior to this, and as the OP i would of been happy to of had this thread either removed or merged.

Due to the previous thread also being closed i thought an update was due.

I don't mean to sound rude but this was my understanding!

It was out there, although from what I understand only in limited quantities due to the closure of a lot of the Chinese clone manufacturers

Actually, I was under the impression it hadn't been released.... I knew the M99 had been released, but not the M82.

I know someone did a review of one, comparing it to a Hurricane (or was it SC) but I didn't know it was commercially available.

I was under the impression that JG(Snow wolf) never released their M82, rather just the M99 then socom gear released their M82 which most people class as the "Chinese/clone M82" when its as close to the real thing as an airsofter can get.

It made it to a few Asian based retailers, but as I said, because it was only in limited numbers, not sure it made it out of HK

Well the biggest problem will probably be (as with all chinese) will be fps and like the socom gear it will probably still full auto enabled.

There website calls it the sw99 with the product code rendition of sw99_02 suggesting its the 2nd snow wolf m99 variant, although it is clearly a m82.

A few units making their way to a few asian retailers last year is hardly a release.

IRS actually also available in the UK at a certain warehouse for airsoft but you need to buy 5..........

The warehouse site, doesnt make it available here, my understanding of them is, you order it from them, then they order it from HK...

Basically it means they sort customs, so you dont have too.

I also heard a rumour that they wait for lots of orders, then get it all sent over together.
