To be fair Rich, I'm yet to see one of your PTW's that doesn't like brilliant. You know how to make a PTW look good without covering it in lasers, torches and every style of optics you can find.

I couldn't find the magic carpet in my box, but I found a teddy bear cushion if that helps.
I decided to go for simple clean look rather than ris rails.

This is how my PTW looked about 4-5 days ago. I had a PEQ box and a torch and all the gubbins for a proper MK18 Mod 0 but to be honest it's all extra weight and I like mine quite plain.
It has recently had a MK18 RIS II installed on it, but I'm waiting for my Troy battle sights to turn up before I post up a pic of it.
Some of the weathering is artificial but some of it has just happened over time during skirmishes.

M4 custom Real deal parts :
CAA - Command Arms Acessories Stock
Rear iron sight,
Magpul Forgrip
Vltor Gas block
U.S issue M4A1 Flashhider
Magpul ASAP sling plate.

CQBR real steel parts:
Mid west IND Two part RIS handguards
U.S issue M4A1 Carbine stock,
Magpul ASAP plate,
Knights Armament Forgrip and rail covers
ROC T91 Taiwanese extended flash-hider.

Thanks mate, the Pmags are from Tac, he does them with Systema internals or you can buy the shells and use your own internals in them. I bought them in FDE, sprayed them black and then ran some sandpaper over them
