Guys

Any suggestions on the following.

I want to remove the front Iron sight from my Marui M4 CQBR recoil but understand it holds the RIS in place. I've noticed a few of you have taken the front Iron sight off and still have the standard RIS system in place...are you using a Gas block to hold the RIS system in place and if so which one?

I'd prefer to avoid having to change out the RIS to a free float but if it's the only way then will have to take the leap.

Appreciate any feedback.

friend had one the same...weighed just short of a small moon..! thought my ptw was heavy but its like lifting a packet of walkers in comparison! fine for a whle, but couldnt be arsed for a whole day. kudos to your commitment!

Ta very much! Was thinking about putting a free-float on it but I'm not going to bother, prefer it simples. Besides, a DMR is in the planning process and that will be covered in them!

It looks ragged as, but i love the look of that thing.

You must do too, as you havent sold the thing within 6 months of getting it.

Just rebuilt a sopmod , bless it its been in a box for a while in bits.

Quick change battery converted to fit Cpu Mosfet ( so i can change to Dmr when i feel like it )
Pdi 6.01 inner barrel ( Cut about 530-540mm )
Everything in the gearbox in Prometheus
Laylax metal hopup body
Firefly hop rubber and nub
E6 M100 Spring ( Change to M110 for dmr )
370 Fps m100
Silencer slipped over barrel and under Ris to fit longer inner barrel for DMR
running 7.4 lipo's

Chose this Ris so i could use iron sights when i feel like it night time play etc.
In general its a all rounder gun that semi/full/3 round burst. semi only or normal
Dmr / Assult Rifle all in one package
Abit dusty and needs a tidy up now and reddot doctor putting on
