I always do, regardless of what gun it is. I usually do it without thinking as soon as the mags in, regardless of what fire is coming in.

...Otherwise the voice in my head tells me the gun wont fire...then the bb's coming out are just pretend :D

Plus I used to have an M14, and then moved on to armalites which are almost as good!

Ok, further to my previous post on this subject, its seems i have been doing this, without actually having been concious of the fact.
A few mates have pointed this out to me after this thread was mentioned in the pub.
So, i do cock my weapon when changing mags.......it seems.

Never in a firefight... dosen't make any sense to to me... If Im just leaving the car park or changing mags after testing the hop or somesuch... then hell year! *ker-clack* ... shame most guns dont make a great noise. M14 ftw on that one though.. I almost bought one just so I could do that. Sad I know. I should have.

i cock when i walk on at the start of the day, thats about it really, although just before a bang kill i would cock it instead of saying bang (well say bang after as well) much more fun to hear a gun being cocked right behind you than some guy saying 'bang'

i don't but at one of my mate's first game, i told her that you had to cock the airsoft guns like the real ones, and she did for about an hour.........i got hit for that
