Wouldn't some kind of box with wheels be better?

        Very nice and well done!

Ive only ever seen a C2 sight attached for SF (Sustained Fire), I never got to carry the sight just the gun or the tripod.

The bipod looks too new to me though...

                    Hey,

I'm looking for the same flashhider you have know. You said in one of your first posts that it was a replica. Where did you buy it? I've looked everywhere but didn't find it yet. They have it in the U.S.A. but no international shippings for it.

                    Thnx

I bought it after being PMd - someone had one going spare. I wasn't even aware they had been made. Got a link? Or are you talking about a real steel version? I'm assuming it would have been a run for a project or something?...

Using that photo, and a couple of dimensions, someone could make those. The hard part would be working out the shape of cutter needed for the forward part of the slots.

If someone has a blueprint, that info could be on it.

Could you post instructions on how you attached the GPMG flash hider

                              Re: M240B > L7A2 GPMG Conversion

I'd like to but it's jammed-in pretty tight and I don't want to undo it again. I used a series of metal and plastic collars/collets found in my spares box to create a tight but maleable 'jacket' on the threads. I then tapped-on the flash hider. Non-permanent but nice n' solid.

Ok, the 50 round contact mag is ON!

Put up a bit of a fight but a file-down here and a file-down there and she clips-on just fine. Mighty strong, too... unlike that horrible, flimsy M240 box mag thing it comes with. It'll take one hell of a whack to get this thing off so it can be properly thrown around and skirmished now.

Just waiting for an A&K box mag now (Echo-1USA wanted $318 for a spare M240B mag!). Then the fun will really begin as i engineer the gubbins into this...

The 50 round contact magazine is of course much smaller than the full-size one and I estimate a fill will be 1000-1500 rounds, rather than the 3500 currently at my disposal. This suits me fine though as it'll enable the 'simulation' of belt changes as I run out of ammo (top cover has to be raised before you can open the box mag and refill.

                              Watch this space!
