What's the specific law saying this is illegal? I don't know for sure, but I remember another thread that said since they are not impact detonated and are not fin-stabilised it's not illegal...

Pretty sure it is illegal, since your using one projectile to launch another which is combustable. . .

Seriously, what if it hit someone in the head and went off? I have a Revolving Launcher and I wouldn't even consider it in a million years. What the hell is wrong with the foam rockets?! Or any of the Nerf stuff?!

Well i doubt he would use it in a game. I suppose it was just a "hey i know whats a good idea" moment. I don't think he would purposely break the law.

They make specific motor rounds.

Smokes can be successfully launched out of a 203. It is very effective.

Nope, CO2 blows them apart well did in my 203...

Dual vented smokes are fine for propane.

As already mentioned I think, it's not illegal as the projectile is not stabalised. If you were to put fins on it for example, then it would become illegal...

It's all just a bit of fun remember, just as long as no-body's stupid and fires it directly at someone...

This would be rad, but should all be used with common sense... I mean is the impact of one of these fired sensibly going to be worse than an underarm thrown one over this distance? I mean if someone is firing a pyrotechnic at 300fps, then obviously you're going to have issues.

It's amazing the way people pick 'n' mix the laws they like to live by on this forum... One second it's to hell with the VCRA, because it is on the whole irrational, and next issues such as this are "illegal" and therefore damned to hell blah blah.
